A little over two years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Alana Nichols at the ESPY Awards. She has been a true inspiration ever since. As the first American female to win gold medals in both the summer and winter Olympic Games, Alana had to overcome much tragedy in her life. Not only did she do that, but she has inspired most everyone in her path along the way.
